Beyond The Tales
In the kid's clubs, we go beyond the story collection on yuniya, providing a space for children and young people to explore, create and learn about the world around them.
Building skills and connections
Throughout the world, youth and children are involved in efforts to mitigate the climate crisis. The next generation is empowering conversations about climate change and acting to help their communities and the environment, not because they are told to but because they care.
In the Kids club, children build skills crucial for articulating their thoughts and feelings and engaging with various themes, including climate change, on a more personal level.
How We Do It
Inspired by chosen African mythologies from the story collection on Yuniya, children and young people learn more about the mythological creature's home.
In addition, they explore the country's history and culture, the ecosystems, the people, how our actions impact their daily lives and how we can act as pillars for the future we hope to see.
Curious Kids Club
We believe that meaningful impacts on climate change will stem from connections and communication across the globe.
At Yuniya, we focus on creating a bridge for personal connections.
How do we do this?
Through storytelling, education, and co-creation.
We do this by connecting children and their parents to the people and places currently facing the effects of climate change, creating a space for co-creation rooted in storytelling.
We share engaging stories that give insight into the lives of children worldwide.
